Don Schreffler
President, Founder
A seasoned dealmaker, Don brings a wealth of experience from his tenure in private equity, having advised and participated in 19+ transactions. Transitioning from an operating partner role at PSGroup Holdings. Don founded Kairos Capital Resources, the parent company of Kairos Mobility Ventures. With a keen eye for identifying disruption-based opportunities, Don specializes in capitalizing on value mismatches and pricing aberrations in dynamic markets.
Don’s automotive expertise spans from retail to wholesale operations. Having owned, operated, and managed multiple car dealerships, he is well-versed in innovative pricing, operating, and valuation models. His proficiency extends to asset-based cash flows, particularly in non-standard or non-traditional contexts, enabling him to generate asymmetrically positive net returns on invested capital. Don’s strategic acumen and deep industry knowledge are instrumental in driving Kairos Mobility Ventures’ success.
Ganesh Rewanwar
CEO/CFO, Co-Founder
Bringing decades of strategic, operational and financial expertise, Ganesh is a cornerstone of the team. He co-founded FreightBazaar, a Shared Mobility startup in the trucking industry in India with a successful exit. Over the period, he successfully built and scaled multiple businesses of different sizes, the largest being the multi-fold growth to a billion dollar business. There are multiple world’s “firsts” and “largests” to his credit. With degrees in chemical engineering and an MBA in finance, Ganesh’s academic background complements his practical experience.
As a founding member of the Deloitte Valuation team in India, he serviced multiple fortune 500 clients. Ganesh’s best-in-class pedigree and leadership are instrumental in guiding Kairos Mobility toward success.
Alex Witherow
Chief Mobility Officer, Co-Founder
Alex started his car rental operational experience running an auto fleet in the trenches of New York City in 2016. He later established his YouTube channel, Car Rental University, along with an aligned consulting business, in 2021.
Alex combines years of operational car-share, ride-share, private rental and insurance experience, along with top level strategic partnerships and market intelligence in the car-sharing industry. He has a unique vantage point, as well as a powerful platform for growth and communication. His position as a deep resource for so many in the carshare and private rental industry is well established.
The YouTube channel, which serves as a clearing house for industry intelligence, has provided uncountable opportunities for growth, profit and additional knowledge accumulation. Alex has delivered high-level partnerships, valuable Joint Venture opportunities, and a host of relationship-based opportunities, including unique car-acquisition financing options for the company.
His profound grasp of the industry and a deep network of industry insiders not only protect company interests, but increase both the likelihood and quality of viable, profitable collaborations and transactions through his efforts.
Valerie Lee
Chief of Staff, Co-Founder
Valerie Lee is a multifaceted financial strategist whose success has been fostered through diverse academic accomplishments, as well as hands-on entrepreneurial experience. Valerie’s educational foundation was laid at UCLA (BS Biology) and Pepperdine University (MBA).
Valerie’s path led her to invest in, and scale a wholesale distribution, import/export, and logistics company. It was here that she sharpened her skills in navigating complex supply chains, fostering strategic relationships, managing uncertainty and risk, and building operating excellence into scaled systems. Valerie sold her business in 2023 to a larger competitor and was nicely rewarded for her efforts at exit. Driven by her passion for financial strategy and investment, Valerie transitioned into the worlds of financial strategy and private equity. Valerie has distinguished herself as an Operating Partner since joining the company, and is a valued and highly respected member of our Senior Leadership team.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Valerie finds meaning and fulfillment in her role as senior strategist, and operating partner, in a company that is changing the world for the better, one vehicle at a time. When she’s not crunching numbers, she can be found enjoying the company of her four beloved dogs, running a marathon, or crushing an unfortunate competitor on the Pickleball court.
With her friendly demeanor and unwavering commitment to excellence, Valerie is dedicated to working with the team to build a better, more beneficial future for all of us,…and for our children’s children.
Vikrant (Vik) Viniak – Advisor
Vikrant (Vik) Viniak is an operations focused strategic executive with over two decades of experience in delivering value for clients. In his recent role, he was Accenture’s North America Sustainability Services Lead and was part of the North America Leadership Team (NALT). He oversaw delivery of discrete sustainability services as well as the integration of sustainability into all client work for the firm’s largest geographic market.
As a trusted advisor to Chief Executive Officers and other C-suite executives across a wide range of industries, Vik has helped clients create business value and impact through idea to execution. His work includes transforming industrial and high-tech companies through new business models and finding new markets for various vectors of growth – Digital revenue, Data monetization, XaaS, Pivot from product to platform, energy efficiency, etc. He also has a strong foundation in supply chain, operating model and shared services. At present he is engaged with several companies with acceleration of their transformations
Vik is a sought-after speaker and has appeared on stage at events including Climate Week NYC’s Sustainable Development Goals summit, UN, the Mobile World Congress and the Consumer Electronic Show. He has been published and quoted in multiple business and trade journals including Infoworld, TriplePundit, TechTarget, IOT agenda, Information Week and Supply Chain Management Review.
Vik started his career as a mechanical engineer for Whirlpool and moved to become a supply chain consultant before joining Accenture and focusing on C-suite advisory.
Vik is an avid runner and fitness enthusiast who likes to push his physical and intellectual boundaries. He is committed to going the extra mile in supporting, mentoring, and coaching people to achieve their goals. He is passionate about using technology and human ingenuity to drive impact in his professional and personal lives.
Vik serves on the Board of Back on My Feet (BoMF), an organization that helps people to break free from the cycles of poverty, homelessness and addiction through fitness, community support and employment resources, as well as the Board of the Quinlan School of Business. Vik is also founding board member of Midwest sustainability summit and on steering committee for Berkeley Corporate + Climate Summit.
He holds an MBA from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University in Chicago, and a BE in mechanical engineering from NIT Trichy, India.
